R.E.D. Foundation Scholarship Winners Announced

The Robert E. Dougherty (R.E.D.) Educational Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2021 Intern Scholarship Program.  The mission of the Scholarship Program is to provide educational financial support to individuals that have interned in the composite panel industry.  On May 12, the Foundation Board approved the Scholarship Committee’s recommendations to award scholarships to the following recipients: Mr. Noah Bordon attending Louisiana Tech University and Mr. Jean-Francois Brassard attending University de Sherbrooke.

The 2021 Scholarship Committee includes the following CPA members: Mike Shuey, Collins Products; Wayne Schwerin, Duraplay; Kelli Thompson, Masonite; Dirk Koltze, Siempelkamp and Greg Welling, Woodgrain Millwork.

The Foundation received a total of six applications from students that had recently interned in the industry and were nominated by the employer.  A list of all applicants, along with contact information, is available online on the CPA website.  Members are encouraged to give these students consideration for summer jobs or other employment opportunities.  See 2021 R.E.D. Scholarship Applicants. More Info: Gary Heroux
