U.S. Consumer Confidence Strong in April

U.S. consumer confidence in April registered at 121.7, rising 12.7 points from March and the highest level since February 2020, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index.  The index measuring current business and labor market conditions gained 29.5 points from March to 139.6, while the short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market increase 1.5 points to 109.8 in April.
