U.S. Architectural Billings Continue to Rise in March
The March Architecture Billings Index (ABI) increased 2.3 points from February to 55.6, according to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group. A score below 50 indicates a decline in billings. Design contracts rose 4.1 points from February to 55.7.
March billings increased and were in positive territory across all geographic regions, led by the Midwest and South. Firms of all specializations saw billing improvements as well, with all in positive territory and Commercial/Industrial leading at 57.0. See AIA
