CPA Advocates for Federal Infrastructure Legislation

CPA was a signatory to a U.S. Chamber of Commerce-coordinated letter sent to Congress this week addressing the need to enact infrastructure legislation by July 4.   The U.S. Chamber-led group was formed earlier this year to leverage the interest of the Biden administration in passing sweeping infrastructure legislation as a means of enhancing economic growth and remedying the poor state of highways, bridges, dams and airports in the U.S.  The effort is also expected to address non-traditional forms of infrastructure, such as providing access to the internet in rural and underserved areas.  See U.S. Chamber Letter.  More Info: Andy O’Hare
