U.S. Department of Commerce Affirms China Dumped Wood Mouldings and Millwork
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) announced final affirmative findings that China dumped wood mouldings and millwork and received countervailable subsidies during the period of investigation (POI) from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. DOC also announced a negative final determination in the investigation of the same products from Brazil.
The investigation was launched in January 2020 following a complaint by The Coalition of Millwork Producers. The U.S. International Trade Administration is scheduled to make its final injury determinations by February 11 and if affirmed, the DOC will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on imports by February 18.
