RED Foundation Announces New Intern Scholarship Program

The Robert E. Dougherty (RED) Educational Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to students in composite panel industry-related fields of study.  Previously, the Foundation relied on academic advisors to nominate students for its scholarship program; however, last year the RED Board of Directors voted to restructure the program to better serve its mission.  Beginning in 2021, the RED Foundation scholarship program will now focus on students that have interned within the composite panel industry and will rely on employers to nominate these students for scholarships.  Companies may nominate a student that has interned with them within the past twelve months of this announcement.  Please share this communication with colleagues and direct interested parties to CPA’s website for a full description of the new program, nomination instructions and the application process.  Applications must be received by March 16, 2021.  See RED Foundation.
