U.S. Kitchen and Bath Sales Down in April

U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in April 2020 were 22% lower than the comparable month in 2019, and year-to-date totals fell 1.0% from the year-ago period, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey.  Overall cabinet sales were down 30.9% from March. Semi-custom sales fell 31.5% from March and were down 5.9% through the first three months compared to 2019. Custom cabinetry sales dropped 35.7% in April, and year-to-date levels fell 4.1% over 2019. Stock sales were 29.6% lower than March but up 3.2% from the first quarter one year ago. See KCMA
