Canadian Construction Investment Decreases in March

Total investment in Canadian building construction in March was $15.4 billion (CAD), decreasing 3.6% from February. Residential construction fell 3.3% from February to $10.5 billion, with non-residential totals down 4.3% to $4.9 billion in March.  Single-family spending was 0.6% higher at $5.3 billion while multi-unit dwellings fell 6.9% from March to $5.2 billion.  See Statistics Canada
