CPA Names Canadian Representative to Succeed Bisson
CPA is pleased to announce the hire of Kevin Warkentin to succeed Donald Bisson as CPA’s Canadian representative. Kevin comes to CPA with over 24 years of experience working for Louisiana-Pacific in operations and as a corporate environmental manager responsible for leading the company’s advocacy efforts in Canada. He brings a wealth of practical experience and has maintained strong contacts in Canada through his work with regulators and leading wood product associations. Following Donald’s retirement, Kevin will work closely with Impact Public Affairs to oversee CPA’s advocacy initiatives at the federal and provincial levels, including most notably the pending national formaldehyde regulation. Kevin is a Canadian citizen and currently resides in Nashville, TN.
On behalf of the entire membership, CPA wishes all the best to Donald Bisson, who will fully retire at the end of this week after more than 15 years of service. Donald has been a remarkable advocate for the composite panel industry, working tirelessly to represent Canadian members’ interests at national and provincial levels. He was always a pleasure to work with, and as all Canadian members can attest, passionate about this job and industry. CPA President Jackson Morrill shared, “We wish Donald a very long, happy and healthy retirement spent with his grandkids and family, and we look forward to welcoming Kevin so he can continue Donald’s great work on behalf of CPA’s Canadian members.” More Info: Jackson Morrill and Donald Bisson
