CDC and OSHA Update COVID-19 Guidance

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued this week interim guidance for implementing safety practices when critical infrastructure workers are exposed to a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.  Notably, the guidance provides that critical infrastructure workers can continue to work following potential exposure to COVID-19, provided no symptoms of the virus have manifested and a number of precautions detailed in the guidance are followed.  OSHA has also updated interim guidance on preparing workplaces for COVID-19, which are intended to apply to all businesses.  See CDC Interim Guidance re ExposureOSHA Guidance, CDC Website.  More Info: Jackson Morrill
