CARES Act Small Business Paycheck Protection Program Begins

Beginning today, the Small Business Administration (SBA) will begin accepting applications from small businesses for the Paycheck Protection Program, which is one important component of the recently enacted Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).  Businesses that were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with less than 500 employees qualify for the Program.  Independent contractors may apply beginning April 10.

SBA has a complete guide on COVID-19 relief for small businesses. See SBA Covid-19 Relief for Small Businesses and SBA Paycheck Protection Program. More Info: Jackson Morrill
