Canadian Manufacturing Down in January

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in January were $2.4 billion, falling 1.2% from December and off 9.9% from the comparable month last year.  Furniture and related products rose 9.8% to $1.2 billion in January and increased 5.4% from the year-ago period.  Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries dipped 0.2% from December to $56.1 billion and decreased 1.2% from January 2019.  See Statistics Canada
