Mexico Manufacturing Grew in February

The IHS Markit Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) was 50.0 in February, up 1.0 point from January, following three months of decline. The positive growth was boosted by new orders which triggered an increase in manufacturing output, the first time in nine months. A reading above 50 indicates growth.

The PMI index is composed of five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers' delivery times and stocks of raw materials. See IHS Markit
