Consumer Confidence Inches Upward in February

U.S. consumer confidence in February registered at 130.7, rising 0.3 points from January, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index measuring current business and labor market conditions decreased 8.8 points from January to 165.1, but the short-term outlook for income, business and labor market rose from 101.4 to 107.8 in February.
