U.S. Construction Spending Up Slightly

U.S. construction spending in November 2019 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.32 trillion, rising 0.6% from October and 4.1% higher than the year-ago period.  Private construction spending increased 0.4% from October to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $985.5 billion.  Residential levels were up 1.9% from the previous month to $536.1 billion, and non-residential totals decreased 1.2% from October to $449.4 billion.  See U.S. Census Bureau
