U.S. Home Sales Dip in October

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in October were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 733,000, down 0.7% below the revised September rate but 31.6% higher than the comparable period in 2018.  The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of September was 322,000, representing a 5.3-month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
