Canadian Construction Investment Up in September

Canadian building construction investment in September was $15.6 billion, up 1.0% from the previous month. Residential construction increased 1.2% to $10.8 billion, and non-residential spending was up 0.4% to $4.9 billion in September.  Single-family construction spending was 1.4% higher at $5.4 billion, and multi-unit dwellings inched upward by 1.1% to $5.3 billion over August.  See Statistics Canada
