Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Increases in October

The IHS Markit Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) was 50.4 in October, up from September at 49.1. This is the highest level since February and the first time its been over 50 since April. A reading above 50 indicates growth. The expansion is attributed to higher orders.

The PMI index is composed of five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers' delivery times and stocks of raw materials. See IHS Markit
