U.S. Home Sales Dip in September

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in September were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 701,000, down 0.7% below the revised August rate but 15.5% higher than the comparable month in 2018.  The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of September was 321,000, representing a 5.5 month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
