U.S. Home Remodeling Activity Unchanged in Third Quarter

U.S. remodeling activity in the third quarter was unchanged from the second quarter at 55 according to the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Remodeling Market Index (RMI). The current market conditions indicator decreased 1 point to 54 and the future market index gained 2 points to 57 compared to the second quarter.

The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members providing insight on current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market. A score over 50 indicates remodelers reporting market activity higher than the previous quarter.  See National Association of Home Builders
