EPA Announces First TSCA Title VI Enforcement Action

EPA announced this week that it reached a settlement with Global Sourcing Solutions, A Division of Turner Logistics, LLC of Montvale, New Jersey for violations associated with the importation of non-compliant composite wood products.  This represents the first enforcement action taken by EPA under TSCA Title VI.  Under the Consent Agreement, Global Sourcing Solutions has agreed to take several corrective actions to achieve compliance and will pay a penalty of $544,064.  CPA welcomes this action by EPA and looks forward to working with the Agency to reinforce the importance of strong TSCA Title VI enforcement to protect consumers and ensure a level playing field.  See Consent Agreement.  More Info: Jackson Morrill
