U.S. Home Sales Post Mixed Results

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in July were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 635,000, down 12.8% from the revised June rate, but 4.3% higher than the year-ago period. The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of July was 337,000, representing a 6.4-month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
