U.S. Builder Confidence Dip in June

U.S. builder confidence in the market for new homes in June decreased 2 points to 64 on the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI).  All major HMI components fell in June. The current sales conditions index decreased 1 point to 71.  The component gauging expectations in the next six months was 2 points lower at 70, and the metric charting buyer traffic dropped 1 point to 48.
