EPA TSCA Title VI Milestone Date

Friday, March 22nd marked the full implementation date for EPA TSCA Title VI, which now requires that all composite panel products manufactured, imported and sold in the U.S. must meet the regulation’s requirements for formaldehyde emissions.

Concurrently, CPA’s Eco-Certified Composites (ECC) Grademark Certification Program now requires that all composite panel mills certified to the new ECC 4-19 standard must meet all of the updated requirements, including a plant’s commitment to meet the CARB ATCM 93120 and EPA TSCA Title VI formaldehyde emissions requirements for 100% of its panels 100% of the time, even if panels are sold in countries where those regulations do not apply.  See ECC Program.
