U.S. Builder Confidence Remains Level in March

U.S. builder confidence in the market for new homes in March was unchanged at 62 on the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI).  Two of the major HMI components were higher in March. The current sales conditions index rose 2 points to 68.  The component gauging expectations in the next six months was 3 points higher at 71, however the metric charting buyer traffic was down 4 points to 44.
