U.S. Builder Confidence Up in February

U.S. builder confidence in the market for new homes in February increased 4 points to 62 on the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI).  All major HMI components were higher in February. The current sales conditions index increased 3 points to 67.  The component gauging expectations in the next six months was 5 points higher at 68, and the metric charting buyer traffic rose 4 points to 48.
