NAHB Remodeling Index Falls Slightly

The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Remodeling Index (RMI) for the fourth quarter of 2018 was down 1 point to 57 compared to the previous three months. The current market conditions index also fell 1 point to 57 from the third quarter.  

Major additions and alterations remained unchanged at 56, while minor additions and alterations fell 1 point to 56. Home maintenance and repair also decreased 1 point to 59. The future market outlook dropped 3 points from Q3 to 56. See NAHB
