CPA Submits Comments on Proposed TSCA Title VI Technical Amendments

CPA submitted comments late last month on EPA’s proposed TSCA Title VI technical amendments related to third-party certification and testing.  The comments reinforced CPA’s positions made during EPA’s June 28 public stakeholder meeting and in prior letters to the agency, including the importance of seeking CARB alignment and the need for lot-by-lot testing with an EPA-approved laboratory for new mill start-up.  CPA also emphasized the need for a quick resolution to these technical issues to allow the regulated community adequate time to prepare for the March 22, 2019 deadline when all composite wood panels imported and sold in the U.S. must be TSCA Title VI certified.  See CPA Comments.  More Info: Jackson Morrill
