This August marks the retirement of two longstanding industry executives, and CPA recognized the following individuals for their numerous contributions to the association and the industry at the recent Spring Meeting in Victoria.
Steve Stoler became active in CPA 14 years ago when he took over as Boise’s General Sales Manager for Particleboard in 2004. Steve has had a distinguished career at Boise for over 39 years. He has served on the CPA Board of Directors, Executive Committee and was Chairman of the Board in 2015. During his role as a CPA Officer, Steve served as a member of the Executive Selection Committee to recruit and onboard CPA’s new President in 2014 and 2015.
Will Warberg has been active in the association for 30 years as part of Plum Creek MDF and more recently Weyerhaeuser Company. He has served on the Composite Wood Council (CWC) Board, CPA Board of Directors, Executive Committee and was Chair of the Association in 2007. Will is also one of the founding officers of EPAC in 2005 and has remained on that committee in a leadership role for most of its existence.
On behalf of the industry, CPA would like to thank Steve and Will for their many years of service and wish them all the best in their retirement.
