U.S. Home Sales Rise in May

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in May were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 689,000, rising 6.7% from April and 14.1% above the same period in 2017.  The seasonally-adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of May was 299,000, representing a 5.2 month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
