U.S. Kitchen Cabinet Sales Increase in May

U.S. kitchen and bath cabinetry sales rose 1.6% in May from the comparable month in 2017, according to Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey.  Year-to-date cabinetry sales increased 1.1% over the same period last year.

Semi-custom sales were up 0.3% in May but were 0.5% lower than the first five months of 2017. Custom cabinetry sales improved 8.8% from May 2017 and year-to-date sales were up 4.1% over the previous year. Stock sales inched upward by 0.8% and sales through May increased from 2017 by 1.7%.  See KCMA
