Health Canada Announces Workshop on Proposed Formaldehyde Regulation

Health Canada will hold a multi-stakeholder workshop on proposed formaldehyde emissions regulations for composite wood on September 6 in Ottawa, Canada.  All Canadian panel producer members will attend and provide testimony, as will CPA President Jackson Morrill.  The central message of the testimony will be to reinforce the critical importance of alignment with EPA’s TSCA Title VI regulation.

CPA is also preparing written comments in response to a consultation document prepared by Health Canada on the proposed regulations.  These comments are due September 1.  See Health Canada Formaldehyde Consultation. More Info: Donald Bisson
