CPA Issues Policy Position on NAFTA Negotiations

CPA has developed a policy position that outlines several main objectives that members would like to see addressed in the NAFTA negotiations projected to start later this month.  This position statement supports modernizing and improving NAFTA in certain key areas and reflects CPA’s unique position as a trade association representing companies in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  Importantly, many of the positions outlined in CPA’s statement are also reflected in the U.S. National Association of Manufacturing’s (NAM) core principles for NAFTA negotiations.  CPA will continue to work with NAM to provide perspective on NAFTA to Congressional members and staff and the Trump administration going forward.  See CPA Policy and NAM Policy.  More info: Jackson Morrill
