U.S. Kitchen Cabinet Sales Down in April

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA)’s monthly Trend of Business Survey reported that cabinetry sales for April fell 3.2% compared to the same month last year. Stock cabinet sales were down 5.2%, semi-custom sales rose 0.8%, and custom sales fell 9.8% compared to the year prior. Year-to-date sales show an increase of 4.2%, with stock sales rising 4.5%, semi-custom sales up 4.8% and custom sales 0.9% higher than the comparable period in 2016.

Survey participants include companies whose combined sales represent approximately 70% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market.  KCMA is the trade association for manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. See KCMA
