U.S. Home Sales Jump in November

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in November 2016 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 592,000, 5.2% above the revised October rate and 16.5% higher than the comparable month in 2015.  The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of November was 250,000, representing a 5.1 month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
