Mexico Manufacturing Strengthens in February

The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in February was 51, rising 2.1 points from January. The index improvement was attributed to increased client sales, particularly internationally.

The PMI index comprises five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of raw materials. A reading above 50 indicates growth. See S&P Global
