Mexico Manufacturing Improvement Continues in March

The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in March was 51, marking no change from February. The above 50 index was attributed to increased sales, employment and reduced delivery times.

The PMI index comprises five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of raw materials. A reading above 50 indicates growth. See S&P Global
