Mexico Manufacturing Improvement Continues in April

The April seasonally adjusted S&P Global Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was 51.1, consistent with March levels. The above 50 index was attributed to increased sales and reduced costs.

The PMI index comprises five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of raw materials. A reading above 50 indicates growth. See S&P Global
