Swiss Krono LLC, a division of Swiss Krono Group and until 2016 known as KronotexUSA, began distribution in the United States in 2000 and, in 2005, opened its current manufacturing facility in Barnwell, S.C. In 2019, a new MDF manufacturing plant will begin operations at the same Barnwell, SC location.
