May Mexico Manufacturing Index Dips

The May seasonally adjusted S&P Global Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was 50.5, dropping 1.1 points from April. The decline was attributed to reduced client demand.

The PMI index comprises five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of raw materials. A reading above 50 indicates growth. See S&P Global
