May Canadian Residential Construction Investment Improves

Canadian building construction investment increased 0.8% from April to $20.8 billion (CAD) in May. Residential construction spending grew 0.9% to $14.4 billion. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 1.3% lower than April at $6.8 billion, while multi-unit levels rose 2.9% to $7.6 billion in May.
