Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in May were $3.1 billion (CAD), declining 0.5% from April but up 0.9% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, increasing 3.7% from both April and May 2024. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $68.7 billion, decreasing 0.9% compared to April and 4.1% from the year prior, marking the weakest month since January 2022.
