The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) increased 4.0 points to 47.2 in May, and design contracts rose 2.6 points to 45.9. Project inquiries grew to above 50 for the first time since January, but billings were below 50 in all sectors and regions. A score above 50 indicates growth. See AIA
