Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in March were $596.2 billion, dipping 0.1% from February. Wood product shipments rose 0.2% to $13.1 billion from the previous month, and furniture and related products shipments improved 0.9% to $6.9 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing were $618.8 billion in March, 4.3% higher than the prior month. Furniture and related product orders totaled $6.9 billion, growing 0.5% from February. See U.S. Census Bureau
