Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in March totaled $633.9 billion, increasing 1.4% from February. Wood products rose 0.5% to $13.6 billion, while furniture and related product shipments fell 1.2% to $7.7 billion.
New manufacturing orders were 1.5% higher than February, reaching $630.4 billion. While furniture and related product orders slipped 0.2% to $7.6 billion in March. See U.S. Census Bureau
