U.S. sales of new single-family homes in March were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 724,000, up 7.4% from February and 6.0% higher than the comparable month in 2024.
The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale in March was 503,000, indicating an 8.3-month supply at the existing sales rate. This is down 6.7% from last month, but up 1.2% from March 2024. See U.S. Census Bureau
