U.S. residential furniture factory orders in March were 1% higher than February and for the same month last year. However, year-to-date orders dropped 2% from March 2024.
Furniture shipments grew 6% from February and 1% from March 2024 but remained unchanged year-to-date. Backlogs fell 1% from the prior month and were 6% lower than March 2024. See Smith Leonard
