March Consumer Confidence Improves

U.S. consumer confidence in March registered at 104.2, increasing 0.8 points from February, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index, measuring current business and labor market conditions, dipped 1.9 points to 151.1 in March. The short-term outlook index for income, business and the labor markets rose 2.6 points from February to 73.
