March Consumer Confidence Holds Steady

U.S. consumer confidence registered at 104.7 in March, mostly unchanged from the adjusted February reading of 104.8, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index measuring current business and labor market conditions increased 3.4 points to 151.0 in March. The short-term outlook index for the income, business, and labor markets declined 2.5 points from February to 73.8.
