Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in March declined 0.5% from February and 4.4% lower than the same month in 2025 to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers reached $3.8 billion, down 2.9% from February and 4.8% from March 2025. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $72.7 billion, up 0.9% from the prior month and 3.4% higher than the same period in 2025. See Statistics Canada
